Clad (UK) Ltd is a specialist contractor based in West Lothian and Leeds, geographically positioned to service the central belt and all areas throughout Scotland and the North of England. Our management team have over 30 years experience in the industry and with our highly skilled workforce we can act as specialist sub contractor or principal contractor on external facade projects ranging in size, value and complexity.

We are unique in that we can offer a full ‘through the wall’ external facade package in natural stone, rainscreens, insulated renders etc, from early conceptual design through to successful completion at a very high standard, on time and within budget.

Restoration

Restoration mortars are made under controlled conditions to ensure they are perfectly matched to the facade being restored. Modern day techniques consist only of natural materials, so where stone restoration medium is required, then the base material would be crushed limestone or sandstone, mixed with the appropriate properties of hydraulic lime as the binding agent.

These techniques work hand in hand with installation of replacement stones, carefully matched and hand produced to replace the worn, eroded or damaged originals.
